Garima Sahai is Senior Vice President, AI and Innovation Technology at Cambiar Education.

As SVP, AI and Innovation Technology at Cambiar, Garima leads tech integration, platforming and products for Cambiar's in-house ventures, and serves as an advisor for the broader set of ventures and grantees.

Garima is a seasoned technology and product leader with 20+ years of experience, most recently as Director of Engineering at Google, leading a team of 150+ for Search and Map Ads. She started her career at Google in 2003 as a Software engineer and has contributed to and led multiple global user facing products across Google Books and Google Ads/Maps.

Experiencing education & equity as key enablers in her own journey, Garima is very passionate and motivated to leverage her expertise & experience towards driving social impact. While at Google, she served as a DEI lead and Women in Tech champion, recently volunteering for the Google.org Spelman project for minority women in STEM. She currently serves on the Board for Family Engagement Lab, a non-profit working on educational equity in the US; and the Advisory Board for Unit Of Impact, a joint venture of 3 B-Corps, and a platform for measuring social impact and creating compelling impact reports for small businesses.

Garima has a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University and BTech in CS from BITS, Pilani, India. Garima lives in the Bay Area, California and is a proud mother of 2.
