Donald spent 16 years at YES Prep, where, as its first Director of College Counseling, he built a program that became a national model for helping first-generation, low-income students get to and through college. He later led Character Lab, a nonprofit advancing the science of character development, before founding Contigo Ed to bring what he'd learned to schools nationwide. Donald spent his career sitting across the table from students and families, helping them navigate a system that wasn't built with them in mind.
